IMDB rating: 6.40 Plot: In 1964, a brash new pro boxer, fresh from his olympic gold medal victory, explodes on to the scene, Cassius Clay. Bold and outspoken, he cuts an entirely new image for African American’s in sport with his proud public self confidence with his unapologetic belief that he is the greatest boxer of all time. To his credit, he sets out to prove that with his highly agile and forceful style soon making him a formidable boxer who soon claims the heavyweight championship. His personal life is no less noteworthy with his allegiance to the Nation of Islam, his friendship with the controversial Malcolm X and his abandonment of his slave name in favour of Muhammad Ali stirring up controversy. Yet, at the top of his game, both Ali’s personal and professional lives face the ultimate test with the military draft rules are changed, making him eligible for military induction during the Vietnam War. Despite the fact that he could easily agree to a sweetheart deal that would have meant an easy tour of duty for himself, Ali refuses to submit on principle to cooperate in an unjust war for a racist nation that treated his people so poorly. The cost of that stand is high as he finds himself unable to legally box in his own country while his case is contested in court. What follows is a battle for a man who would sacrifice so much for what he believes in and a comeback that would cement his legend as one of the great sports figures of all time. |

The Bachelor ( last nights episode )?
If you were Ali…. would you have chosen to leave and save the job OR stick it out and hope you’re ”The-One " ???
I’m thinking Ali played this game and just wanted Jake to tell her THEN that she was the one.
and………… Jake called her bluff >> I think she made a HUGE mistake and think Jake knew what she was doing ( by the expression on his face )
But then it shows in next weeks episode….. Ali calls him.
Maybe she has just watched too much Bachelor/Bachelorette and is Pulling -a-Ed from last year thinking Jake will take her back ???
<><><>such a ”different’ and much more drama than I’ve seen on this show before <><> either way,,,,,, I think it’s all bull and she thinks she pulled a fast one ( maybe she did )
What’s your thoughts ???
<><><><> Thanks >>>>
I think Ali wanted to see if he would beg her to stay, she kept dragging it on and on and even when it got to the rose ceremony she didn’t make up her mind yet and kept asking him what she should do. I think she was wanting to see if he would tell her he was in love with her and wanted to be with her for the rest of his life. You can tell by the look on Jake’s face that he thought she was being overly dramatic about it and just wanted her to make her decision. I think she wanted to see what he would do if she was going to leave and didn’t realize that he wouldn’t beg and plead for her to stay. If she didn’t want to leave she shouldn’t have left but she decided to even when he told her he wants her to stay so she needs to deal with her decision.
but I’m glad she left, she acted like a sweet girl infront of Jake but then when she wasn’t around him she would talk sooooo much crap on Vienna, that’s all who Ali talked about when she wasn’t with Jake. She’s too immature in my opinion.

My thoughts are she knows the statistics. The Bachelor/Bachelorette is in it’s 19th edition – and thus far, there has only been one lasting marriage. She just started her dream job with Facebook in San Francisco a couple of months prior to going on the show and didn’t have enough rapport with the company to be indispensable. She also stood in front of him and told him she loved him. He did not say it back, he did not tell her "screw the show, I love you and I want to be with you" – he said "Okay audios there are 3 other chicks who want me". I completely believe that she made the right decision and that even if she calls, she will not be back.

I think she’s coming back!!

I wonder why she even went on the show without agreeing beforehand the amount of time she would need if she made it to the end?
Jake did tell her she wasn’t on the line that night, so she would have been one of the last 3 women. Granted, it’s tough to find love, but it’s also tough to find a job right now and she lives in the most expensive city in the US.
Don’t worry, looks like she’s trying to come back anyway. ![]()

Thanks goodness Ali left – she should have been sent long ago.
She must have known she was supposed to go back to work, why did she want to destroy Vienna?
She is a sick, immature, jealous little girl.

I think Two Pretty in Pink said it all!!!!!!
I do feel sorry for Jake, he is a nice guy………….but I doubt if he’s going to find love on this show………….but I enjoy watching!!!!

several times i was never going to watch this show again.
But I do.
And not for the reasons they think.
It’s not real. and it is very very cheesy.
Girls crying after meeting him one night at a party on the first episode like
they lost the love of their life.
The rules prevent Jake from giving anything away.
I would not care if I knew who he was going to pick.
We could just watch more of that girl every week.
we could be involved in the process of man and woman more.
we could know all along who it was.
so what.
Jake was not allowed to say you are it to ali…..he should have been able to say
I am going to pick you…stay.
but the show is sooooo fake it’s ridiculous.

Didn’t Ali learn anything from the previous show before she signed up for this one? I’m talking about the show where a guy went home because of his job, but came back. If you don’t have 100% permission in writing that they will hold your job for you, then don’t even go on the show, period. Now, if I were in the same position and lived in California, I would have to follow my gut. I think that is what she did in all honesty. I think we all know that Jake has given his heart already to another, but because it is reality TV, he has to play the game and that is exactly what he is doing. If Ali was the one, he would have somehow convinced her to stay. Notice that when she left, he did have a tear, but then that was it and he moved on. To me that was a huge hint. BTW, I think it is Tenley that has his heart.

I think Ali did the right thing. If Jake really wanted her should of got down on one knee and propose before she left. He can’t guarantee shes going to be the last one standing. So why lose your job over a guy who have feeling for you and 3 other women. I have watched most of the episode this season and I can tell that he is love with the 4 of them very deeply. If I was him it’ll be really hard to choose. I personally think that if Ali and Jake are meant to be he’ll just stay on the show for ABC and at the end reject all 3 of them and go win ali back.
